  • I knocked over the easel holding the foamboard speaker announcements at a conference in VT last week. I turned red. Audience cracked up. Another time I spewed laminated business cards off the podium all over the stage just seconds before I was to begin. The fun just doesn't end!

The closest I ever came to doing something like that was the time I almost kicked over the stand holding the lectern monitor minutes before things we about to kick things off. We had a backup monitor in the other room but who wants to deal with that.
